Privacy policy

parquet.to processes your Parquet files locally in your browser. We do not upload, store, or transmit file contents. This page explains what little data we do handle.

Summary

• Your files never leave your browser — we cannot read them because they do not reach us.
• No accounts and no signup; we do not collect names or emails unless you write to us.
• Google Analytics 4 is used for aggregate usage statistics and sets cookies; you can opt out.
• No advertising runs today; disclosures will appear before any ad is ever served.

Information we do not collect

When you open a Parquet file, it is read and processed entirely inside your browser tab using WebAssembly. Its contents never leave your device and are never transmitted to our servers or any third party. The same applies to any exports you generate.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate visitor patterns. It sets first-party cookies such as _ga. Local storage holds UI preferences, such as whether you dismissed the cookie notice. File contents are never stored.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data under GDPR, UK GDPR, or the CCPA / CPRA. To exercise any right, email contact@parquet.to.
